ThriftBeam publishes practical, easy-to-follow information about AI tools and technology. This page explains how our articles are researched, written, reviewed, and corrected, so you can judge how much to rely on them.
Our standards
- Accuracy first. Factual claims about features, pricing, limits, and availability are checked against primary sources such as official product pages, documentation, and announcements, and we link to those sources.
- Original value. We do not copy or lightly rewrite other publications. Every article must add explanation, context, comparisons, or practical steps of its own.
- Honesty about testing. We only describe hands-on testing when it actually happened. When an article is based on documentation and published information rather than our own testing, we say so.
- Reader interest over volume. We would rather publish fewer articles than publish weak ones.
How we use AI in our work
We cover AI, and we use it. AI tools assist with tasks such as topic research, outlining, and first drafts. AI assistance never replaces editorial responsibility: before an article is published, a human editor reviews it for accuracy, originality, sourcing, and usefulness, and can revise or reject it. Articles that fail our checks are not published.
Images
We use original graphics, screenshots we capture ourselves, AI-generated illustrations, or images we are licensed to use. We do not republish copyrighted images without permission. AI-generated illustrations are decorative and are not presented as real product screenshots.
Sources and updates
AI products change quickly. Each article shows its publication date and, when revised, its last-updated date. When features or prices change, we aim to update affected articles promptly.
Independence
Advertisers and affiliate partners do not decide what we cover or what we conclude. ThriftBeam is supported by advertising and may earn commissions through some links; see our Affiliate Disclosure.
Corrections
If you spot an error, please tell us through our Contact page. We review every correction request and, when an article is materially changed, we note the correction in the article.
